Steeping Instructions

3-5 minutes at 190-210 degrees Fahrenheit

Double Grey Portland Fog Latte Recipe

Ingredients

Makes one 16 oz drink

  • 1 tablespoon of Double Grey Portland Fog tea leaves
  • 7 ounces boiling water
  • 1 ounce (2 Tablespoons) of vanilla syrup
  • 6 ounces steamed milk or milk substitute

Directions

Steep tea leaves in 7 ounces of boiling water, 190°F - 210°F (88°C - 99°C) for 3-5 minutes and remove the leaves. Stir in 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) of vanilla syrup (found in most grocery stores in the coffee aisle). Pour in 6 ounces of freshly steamed milk finishing with a layer of milk foam, and serve. Enjoy!

          Excellent flavor. Thought it would be too strong/acidic with it being “double” but it’s smooth and layered flavor. I add a bit of cream which cuts the tannic taste that sometimes I taste when drinking Early Grey. It makes a great iced tea too.
