Organic Green Pekoe Tea

Attractively hand-rolled and twisted, Organic Green Pekoe Tea creates a very mild cup of green tea, pale in the cup with a pleasing sweetness. It can be infused multiple times with each cup revealing a different nuance of the tea.

Incidentally, the word "pekoe" is not a type of tea; rather, it refers to a larger size of tea leaf.

This tea is produced in small quantities in the Fujian Province of China with the island of Taiwan to the east, across the Strait of Taiwan. The proximity of Taiwan to Fujian has long influenced the province's economy and culture.

The Fujian Tea Farm grows this delicate tea at an elevation of around 1,000 feet where it receives the full benefit of the area's subtropical climate with its maritime moist monsoon seasons of warm winters and cool summers.

An excellent tea for those new to the flavor of green tea.
